A Place to Belong

Our Story

Hope Church began in 2020 as a group of people with a simple hope: that the love of Jesus can bring positive change to the people and the community around us.

Today, we are a welcoming community around Harrow View, gathering in homes, cafés, parks, and local spaces. We love eating good food, having fun and looking out for one another as we live out our faith together.

We would love you to come and join us.

Our Values

We’re big fans of pizza here at Hope Church. It’s simple, shared, and brings people together, much like our community. Our values grew out of that picture. Scroll through to explore what shapes the way we do life together.

    Welcome

We believe life and faith are better when they’re shared - much like a good pizza!

Whoever you are, and whatever your background or beliefs, you’re always warmly welcome.

    Creative & Adaptable

Just like pizza can be made a hundred different ways, our gatherings are flexible.

Our content is shaped by the people in the room, and open to what God is doing in the moment.

    Everyday & Authentic

We like to keep things simple and down to earth.

For us, faith is found in everyday life; whether that is sharing food in homes or gathering in local community spaces.

Everyone is welcome to come, just as they are.

    Joyful & Fun

Whether we’re hanging out, worshipping, eating good food, praying, playing games or simply having a laugh, joy is at the heart of who we are.

    Everyone Matters

Just like a great pizza, everyone adds something unique. We value people for who they are and love seeing their gifts and skills shared. Together, we’re greater than the sum of our parts.

People matter to us, and we do our best to take care of one another.

    Adventurous

We’re open to trying new things and learning as we go. We adapt to the season we’re in and trust God as we step into the unknown together.

Our Beliefs

We follow Jesus, and the Bible guides our faith. We believe that following Jesus shapes the way we live, love, and care for our community in practical and meaningful ways. Click on the drop-down to find out more about what we believe.

  • We believe in one God who makes Himself known to us as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. God is loving and relational, and He invites us into that life with Him. Everything we do as a community comes from this understanding of who He is.

  • We believe the Bible helps us understand who God is, who we are, and the story we’re part of. We see it as trustworthy and shaped by the Holy Spirit. It guides us as we try to follow Jesus in a way that’s real and grounded in everyday life.

  • We believe every person carries deep value because each one of us is made in God’s image. We also recognise that life is messy, and all of us mess up sometimes in different ways. But God’s heart is always to draw us close, to forgive, to restore, and to lead us into the kind of life we were made for.

  • We believe Jesus makes a way for us to come back into relationship with God. Through His life, death and resurrection, He brings hope, healing and new beginnings. Jesus is both fully God and fully human, and we trust Him with our lives because He is the one who brings lasting change.

  • We believe the Holy Spirit is working today, helping us understand God, grow in faith and live out what we believe. The Spirit comes alongside us as our helper, giving us strength, wisdom, love and courage for everyday life. He also gives spiritual gifts that encourage the church and help us serve others. We want to follow His leading as we care for our community and step into what God is doing.

  • We believe the church is a global family, made up of people who love Jesus and are learning to walk with Him. As part of that family, we gather to worship, pray, learn, share life, and care for those around us. We see church not as a building but as a community of people trying to live out their faith together.

  • We believe Jesus sends His followers into the world to share His love through everyday kindness, justice, generosity and hope. That looks like caring for people in need, standing up for what’s right, looking after creation, and helping others encounter the life Jesus offers. Here in Harrow, we want to play our part in seeing our neighbourhood flourish.

OneChurch Harrow

We’re part of the Church of England and the wider family of churches known as OneChurch Harrow. Together, OneChurch Harrow shares a heart to see people across the area encounter the hope and life Jesus brings through planting different worshipping communities.

We are a church plant from OneChurch Harrow and are closely connected with St Peter’s in West Harrow, who provide oversight and support for what we do.
